A career-best 47 not out from Erin Osborne and her 41-run partnership with Delissa Kimmince led Australia Women to a score of 9 for 220 before their bowlers dismissed Pakistan Women for 183 to seal a 4-0 series win.Nicole Bolton and Alyssa Healy had given Australia a good start after Meg Lanning won the toss and opted to bat. The pair added 52 for the first wicket but Sana Mir dismissed both of them in successive overs and Lanning’s wicket, in the 18th over, left Australia wobbling at 3 for 66.Alex Blackwell and Jess Jonassen also failed to build a substantial partnership and were dismissed by the 34th over, falling to fast bowlers Qanita Jalil and Maham Tariq. The sixth-wicket partnership between Kimmince and Osborne revived the momentum of the innings and helped Australia draw closer to 200. The pair managed a healthy run-rate of 5.46 during the partnership, given that neither batsman scored a boundary during their respective innings. After Kimmince fell for 42 off 53 balls, Osborne continued shepherding the lower order, eventually finishing on an unbeaten 47 off 51 balls.Megan Schutt, who returned to the side after missing the third ODI, gave Australia an early breakthrough, dismissing Pakistan opener Marina Iqbal for 3 in the fourth over.Her wicket brought Bismah Maroof and Javeria Khan together at the crease and the pair, Pakistan’s most successful batsmen in this series, stitched together a solid 79-run stand. Javeria also scored her first fifty of the series, hitting six fours in her 84-ball 54. Osborne provided the wickets for Australia, as her off spin claimed both Maroof and Javeria in the space of six runs to leave Pakistan shaky at 3 for 95. The rest of the Australian bowling choked off the runs and kept chipping away at the wickets, before Pakistan’s innings ended in last over.

حاول مارتينيلي التعديل لكن الحارس لينو تصدى لكرة زميله السابق في الدقيقة 4، قبل أن يحاول أوديجارد ويواصل الألماني التألق للدفاع عن مرماه.

في الدقيقة 22، كاد راؤول خيمينيز أن يسجل أفضل أهداف الموسم، ولكن مقصيته ذهبت بجاب القائم الأيسر للحارس آرون رامسديل.

قبل نهاية الشوط الأول، سجل مارتن أوديجارد هدفًا بتسديدة صاروخية من خارج منطقة الجزاء، ولكن الحكم ألغاه بداعي التسلل على مارتينيلي، الذي مرر الكرة للنرويجي.

بعد ذلك حاول آرسنال تعزيز النتيجة، في ظل فتح فولهام لخطوطه والاندفاع من أجل التعادل.

في الدقيقة 100، أطلق فابيو فييرا تسديدة صاروخية بالقدم اليسرى، ولكن بيرند لينو تعملق أمام زميله السابق، ليحوّل الكرة إلى ركنية جعلت أرتيتا يمسك رأسه، ولم يسقط يديه إلا عندما شاهد الفرصة التالية تضيع من أمام لاعبيه على خط المرمى.

Worcestershire have signed New Zealand allrounder Jacob Oram as an overseas player for their 2013 Friends Life t20 campaign.Oram, 34, is one of a raft of players to have retired from other forms of cricket to allow him to pursue a career as a T20 specialist. He negotiated his release from his New Zealand central contract just before Christmas and, having just played in the Bangladesh Premier League, will also appear in the IPL for Mumbai Indians.”The opportunity to play for Worcestershire in this season’s competition was something I could not turn down,” Oram said. “While I have never played county cricket, it has always been a goal of mine so I am very excited at the prospect.”Another attraction to Worcestershire was the chance to play at the picturesque New Road cricket ground. I have played a few games there for New Zealand, in 2004 and 2008, as well as the New Zealand Youth Team in 1996. It’s a beautiful ground and one that I will be privileged to call home, at least for a month.”Worcestershire are one of only two counties – Derbyshire are the other – never to have progressed beyond the quarter-final stages of the domestic T20 competition. But they did make it to the quarter-finals in 2012 for just the third time in the 10-year history of the competition and Rhodes hopes that Oram’s versatility will help them go a step further in 2013.”I have admired Jacob’s all-round qualities for some time now and his t20 experience, which he has gained from global competitions, is a major plus factor in our desire to have a successful Friends Life t20 campaign,” Worcestershire’s director of cricket, Steve Rhodes, said. “He can bowl at the start, middle or end of the innings and can clear the ropes as a batsman, so our supporters will enjoy watching his exciting performances.”Oram made his ODI debut for New Zealand in January 2001 and played his first Test the following year. The Sovima Cricket Stadium, built at a cost of Rs. 10.33 crores, is the second cricket ground in the north-east region of India after Guwahati in Assam.”We are happy that finally our stadium is ready. I believe that cricket is going to go a long way because now we have good facilities,” Athasie Angami, the head coach of the Nagaland Cricket Academy, told .The stadium, which took eight months to build, will allow young players to train in Nagaland, as opposed to having to travel to Guwahati and other places for matches and coaching camps.”Now, our boys will not have to go out from Nagaland to practice. They can learn here and we will be able to better quality players from here,” A Rehman, secretary, Nagaland Cricket Academy, said. “And hopefully more and more Naga boys will come out with flying colors in the field of cricket.”The stadium recently hosted a match between the Under-16 Dimapur district team and the Sovima Youth Cricket Club.
