Southampton fans have taken to Twitter to react after it was revealed that Stuart Armstrong would miss the game against Watford due to an injury.

Ralph Hasenhuttl confirmed the news in his pre-match press conference prior to the crucial relegation six-pointer against the Hornets this Saturday, and it comes as a real blow for both club and player at the cruellest of times.

“We have a few issues. One is Stuart Armstrong, in the last game at the end he cramped a little. He has a few problems with his hamstrings. He isn’t able to play at the weekend. Maybe two weeks he is out – after Newcastle we will look again.”

The Scotland international was just starting to find his groove after a period out of the XI during the early weeks of the campaign, and we recently outlined how the former Celtic man could soon become the Saints’ most important midfielder due to his energy and pressing ability – something that Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, James Ward-Prowse and Oriol Romeu distinctly lack.

Hasenhuttl stated that Armstrong may be out for around two weeks, and the Southampton fans on Twitter have wasted no time in reacting to this news.

وكانت جماهير الزمالك قد هاجمت حلمي طولان بين شوطي مباراة الزمالك وإنبي طالع التفاصيل من هنا.

وقال الغندور عبر قناة الزمالك: “حلمي طولان لم يكن لاعبًا كبيرًا، لكنه أصبح مدربًا كبيرًا، وأي شخص يقترن اسمه بالزمالك أو الأهلي يزداد شهرة”.

وأضاف: “هو شخص محترم وتدربت تحت قيادته من قبل، وأرفض أي إساءة له بالقول، هو من أكبر مدربي الدوري المصري سنًا، وهو من القلائل الذين فازوا على الأهلي والزمالك”.

وأردف: “حلمي طولان قال إنه سيظل يتحدث عن الأهلي بشكل جيد، وسيظهر على قناته لأنهم يحترموه ويقدروه، أريد أن أتوجه إليه بسؤال، هل هناك أحد من قناة الزمالك أو من النادي طالبك بعدم احترام الأهلي؟!”.

وتابع: “حلمي عندما رأى أنه تعرض للتطاول من شخص أو اثنين استاء جدًا واتجه للمدرجات وحاول الحديث معهم، وبعد ذلك فوجئنا أن لجنة المسابقات أوقفته مبارتين مثل شيكابالا، رغم اختلاف الوضع”.

واستمر: “بعد مباراة الدور الأول كابتن حلمي صرح في كل مواقع مصر، وقبل ذلك احتفل بالفوز على الزمالك (بعشوة وعزومة مع 2 على اليوتيوب بيكرهوا للزمالك)، هل أنت بذلك تراعي مشاعر الجماهير التي تحترمك؟! هل كابتن مختار مختار يحتفل بالفوز على الأهلي مع كارهي الأحمر؟!”.

وأكمل: “خلاف حلمي طولان كان مع مرتضى منصور رئيس الزمالك السابق، والآن مرتضى رحل، هو يقدر مشاعر جمهور الأهلي ويصافح اللاعبين بعد اللقاء، رغم أنه تعرض للظُلم على حد قوله، وجمهور الزمالك على الجانب الآخر يقول لابد أن يراعي مشاعرنا نحن”.

وأتم: “كابتن طه البصري كان متعاقدًا مع قناة الأهلي، ومن حقك تظهر في قناة المنافس، لكن ليس من حقك عدم احترام جمهورك الذي صنع اسمك، أنا اسمي خالد الغندور ولكن بدون الزمالك لن يكون لي أي قيمة، العلاقات الشخصية شئ مختلف، وفضل الكيان عليك سيظل حتى أبد الأبدين”.

Liverpool correspondent David Maddock has told LFC4Ar that the Reds will have Houssem Aouar “on their radar”.

What did he say?

In the exclusive interview with the Daily Mirror writer, Maddock spoke about a number of different Liverpool-related topics, including transfers.

When asked about midfielders, he said: “Aouar is a wonderful player and Liverpool will have him on their radar, absolutely no doubt. One of those younger players who still has have the potential grow.”

It is actually rather surprising that the France U21 international is still with Lyon. The 21-year-old has been around for a while now, and he has continually impressed. In 112 appearances for Les Gones, the midfielder has 16 goals and 21 assists, and he has picked up an average WhoScored rating of over seven in each full Ligue 1 season he has participated in to date.

So, there is no doubting that he has talent, but what would his arrival mean for Marko Grujic? The 23-year-old Serbia international is currently out on loan in the Bundesliga with Hertha Berlin, and he recently said that it is his “dream” to play for the Reds next season.

If Aouar were to sign, that would surely prevent him for making a claim for a regular spot in the Merseyside club’s starting XI. Jurgen Klopp already has Jordan Henderson, Georginio Wijnaldum, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Naby Keita, James Milner, Fabinho and Adam Lallana to choose from the in the centre of the park.

Now, although Milner and Lallana are out of contract in the summer, there is probably already one midfielder too many to choose from, meaning that there would only realistically be one spot to take. Valued at £40.5m by Transfermarkt, Aouar would cost a considerable fee. Were he to be purchased, there is little doubt that he would jump above Grujic.

It would be harsh on the former Red Star Belgrade man if that were the case. Last season, he had a WhoScored rating of 7.26 in the Bundesliga – highed than Aouar’s 7.05 in France, incidentally – and scored five goals in 20 starts. Former Hertha manager Pal Dardai called him the best midfielder he had seen in 22 years at the club. Surely he deserves to be given a chance?

As such, Liverpool should avoid making a move for Aouar, as good as he is. What’s the point when you have such a promising talent on your books?

Former Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez refused to rule out taking the Everton job in the future speaking on Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football show, and Toffees fans have been quick to react on Twitter.

The club’s search for Marco Silva’s replacement is ongoing, with Sky Sports previously reporting that Everton want to appoint Vitor Pereira before their clash against Manchester United this weekend – he has now dropped out of the running however.

Meanwhile, having earlier in the programme ruled out a return to the Premier League anytime soon as he continues his reign with Chinese Super League outfit Dalian Yifang, Benitez was asked directly about the Merseyside outfit by Jamie Carragher.

The experienced 59-year-old refused to rule anything out saying “you never know”, before going on to apologise for calling Everton a “small club” when he was in charge of the Reds back in 2011.

It appears that plenty of fans would be willing to take the former Newcastle United chief at Goodison Park however, and while the Spaniard said he didn’t want to leave Asia now, some have said that they believe it is a “come-and-get-me plea”, while another said they would “take him over Pereira”.

Did he play for Everton? Simple question but a lot tougher than you think…

Another individual wasn’t impressed by him fluttering his eyelashes at the Toffees but saying he wouldn’t take the job now, urging the club to give Benitez an ultimatum.

However, not every supporter discussing the comments was keen for the former Red, who is the only manager to win the Champions League, the Europa League, the Super Cup and the Club World Cup, to arrive at Goodison Park anytime soon.

Given his link to Liverpool and those previous comments, it is hardly suprising.

One of the hottest talents in German football, Kai Havertz marked Bayer Leverkusen’s return to Bundesliga action with an inspired display on Monday night. And Liverpool fans at home were left very impressed.

The attacking midfielder has been previously linked with a high-profile move to Liverpool, and after seeing his performance, fans of the Merseyside club flooded to Twitter to share their thoughts on their former transfer target.

One Liverpool fan even suggested that he “could easily see him replacing Firmino”.

If Havertz continues to put in the kind of performance that he put on Monday night, then it seems inevitable that he will eventually leave Leverkusen for pastures new.

And with his fellow German, Jurgen Klopp, in charge at Anfield, Liverpool would surely be a very attractive proposition for him, and one that would be difficult to turn down.

One thing that is for certain is that Havertz looks destined for the top.

يرفض نادي برشلونة الإسباني، التخلي عن سعيه للحصول على داني أولمو لاعب لايبزيج الألماني، رغم أنه تم رفض عرض بقيمة 50 مليون جنيه إسترليني للاعب خط الوسط في يوم الموعد النهائي للانتقال.

وتلقى أولمو عرضًا متأخرًا من برشلونة يوم الثلاثاء الماضي، لكن رفض لايبزيج العرض، حيث قدر فريق البوندسليجا اللاعب الدولي الإسباني بحوالي 65 مليون جنيه إسترليني.

وفقًا لصحيفة “ديلي ميل” البريطانية، نقلاً عن “موندو ديبورتيفو” الإسبانية، سيعمل برشلونة على الفور لحسم الصفقة في انتقالات الشتاء القادمة في يناير المقبل.

وزعم التقرير أيضًا أن أولمو كان مصممًا على العودة إلى برشلونة، ووافق على صفقة مدتها خمس سنوات في انتظار قبول لايبزيج للعرض.

ولكن مع وصول العرض في وقت متأخر جدًا، رفض لايبزيج قبول عرض أقل من تقييمه البالغ 65 مليون جنيه إسترليني، لأنه لم يترك لهم أي فرصة أيضًا لإيجاد بديل.

تمكن لايبزيج من التعاقد مع إيليكس موريبا البالغ من العمر 18 عامًا من برشلونة مقابل 14 مليون جنيه إسترليني.

وبحسب ما ورد، التقى موريبا مع توتنهام، الذي كان برشلونة على استعداد لقبول عرض بقيمة 13 مليون جنيه إسترليني منه، لكن المراهق لم يقتنع باللعب في دوري المؤتمر الأوروبي، والدور الذي سيلعبه تحت قيادة نونو إسبيريتو سانتو، وفقًا لتقارير الصحف الإسبانية.
